applause rang throughout the place as i walked up to the mike. as i scanned the sea of eager faces of the audience looking at me, i cleared my throat to signal the commencement of my speech. the audience kept their focus on the stage only as the message was strongly conveyed. it felt powerful to be able to command the attention of the multitudes by mere strength of words. nods of approval were given in unision at the intelligence of the speech given. as smooth and swiftly as it began, it ended with an all-time high. the whole place exploded with the sudden roar of the thunderous applause of the audience as a standing ovation was given to the speaker. i bowed, calmly but confidently walked exited the stage, with the applause still echoing in my head.

it is done. i've completed my speech at the speaker's corner in my sch.
